I have a late 2020 Australian delivered Streetfighter V4 which has probably the worst engineered part I've ever seen on a Ducati. Confusingly, it does not appear all over the world.
I'd be interested to hear from owners whether you have the upper chain guard installed by the rearset as pictured in one of the images.
It might look all well and good in pictures but in reality it is mounted to 2 x small plastic tabs (via 2 screws not even bolts) which are part of the internal chain guide inside the swingarm. The guard itself is quite heavy milled aluminium or steel which flops and bangs around on the swingarm whilst riding, it has already started to damage the swingarm paintwork. Why they thought metal on metal, mounted by floppy plastic tabs was acceptable is curious.
Every Australian delivered 2020/2021 V4/V4S I've seen in the showroom has this part.
Let me know if you have this part and what you think about it? I'm about to raise a warranty replacement on my swingarm for it.
