Shift lever rubbing hard against rearset

Dealer just installed my gp shift...but here is a problem I am having...the bolt that connects the shift rod to the foot lever is rubbing against the swing arm and it is affecting my downshifts as well as scraping pain off of the swingarm. What was done wrong? I've spent an hour trying to solve it using factory directions but have had no result.

How about you go back to the Dealer to correct this?
