I have the base model with the sucks shock (no typo). My question is for those with the knowledge. Should I get the TTX GP Ohlins or Bitubo XXF61 shock to replace it. I do street riding and advanced track days about 10 a season. Thanks in advance.

It's an upgrade. Can't go wrong with either option. The differences are probably much less noticeable (if any) than majority of us could know in depth. Ohlins has a ton more support and info since it's obviously widely used whereas the bitubo info may not be as readily available.

When i saw you responded i thought all i would see is ohlins and get fgrts to go with it lol

Lol man my purchase reasons have no functionality reasons behind it. Even my suspension is purely aesthetic. I mean my marzocchis were .... but that's besides the point. If money isn't a problem n one can afford to splurge on hobbies, why the hell not? It's only money. Comes n goes.

I'm going with Mupo on my new bike .

The stock shock is not bad, it's atrocious. If you don't mind being kicked out of Starbucks consider a Penske from MDM. One of Penske's shock engineers has a Pani so there was some self serving R&D . I rode with him at njmp.penskes are built per application, unlike others that tune a handful of shocks to fit multiple applications. Out of the box, without turning an adjustment screw, mike had the shock so well set up that my teammate was turning AMA times on Thunderbolt in a few laps. Forks aren't bad stock, but put AK cartridges in. Bike is amazing now. If you want to know more about the tech in this shock, call Mike Faillace at Metric Devil Moto at [email protected] and tell him Brett sent you

Thanks Wilk. I was under the impression that Mupo was race only. Another added to the list.

Thanks Jyli lol

Master Brett - I forgot about Penske and I'm 2 hours from them.. Hmmm Gonna give them a ring. Thanks and I am still enjoying the fact that your Pani was chasing me around NJMP ;) It was a melodic set of turns lol

I appreciate your honesty. There are a lot of folks who do the same thing but would never admit it.

+1 on this.

I've used Penske on race bikes before. Should I finally feel the need to replace the one on the Pani, I wwouldn't hesitate to contact Penske and get it done.

Ya, anything is better then marzsucki's.

Get what you prefer, they will all work good for your needs.

I voted Ohlins because you can get it cheap and its part/service support.

I think I would say FTW, Mupo. If I can get my forks off and sent to Jarel to the cartridges for me I'd say Mupo front and rear.

Iv'e been really impressed so far through the order process from Mupo . Rather than off the shelf one size fits all they actually tailor make the suspension to my requirements down to what tyres I am using and what sort of racing or riding you do . I'm looking forward to using it .
My Ohlins while good I still have had to get the rear shock on a shock dyno and get it re valved to improve it the same needs to be done with the front .

Thanks everyone for the input. I think I am going to get my sag and suspension setup all the way along with it.
