I have had real good luck with the suction mount. Works well on the tank too. I've even used it on my dirt bike helmet with no issues even when hitting branches and stuff.

I would HAVE to dummy cord that. That scares me looking at it, lol...

Doesn't that cause a lot of vibrations on the video? I've seen a lot of videos made with the suction cup on the tank and fairing and it usually doesn't look great due to the vibrations and movement.

Haven't really had a problem with vibration. I would post some videos, but i am technologically challenged and can't edit them to a format that will allow me to post.

I agree, the suction cup mount works well, and as long as you tighten down the fasteners, its pretty stable. Much more stable than our mirrors at speed. It really shakes very little.

I wonder if I take my mirrors off and remount them with GoPro mounts, on the tank, will that help :)

Ah, that's an idea...I want to find a way to mount the camera to the mirror mount.

I mount it the same way on my R... The only difference is that I adjust the arm closer to the bike to reduce vibration as much as possible.

Also, the suction mount worked well on my old S's tank(will only stick off-center because of the contours) , but it will not stick on the R tank because of the painted/unpainted area.
