Does anybody have any experience with the SICOM front rotor kit? When I return from Iraq in about two months mine will be fitted. :D

It is 'cool' but ugly. . .. The sicom ceramics don't have the issue of wet weather performance or heat required performance, but you have to really like the plain gray rotor to put them on :). They do save a good bit of weight though.

I have them. What would you like to know?

Just your general impressions about the SICOM's EVOL. Do you feel it was worth it? Did it have a positive effect on your braking, handling etc?

General Impressions...

- Dont work well in the wet. You have to brake a second earlier. Maybe if they're very hot on a track it wouldn't matter, but I haven't taken them out yet.
- I don't really notice a benefit to handling, but I also have BSTs so Ive already lost significant weight there. The bike handles much better than my base did, thats for sure.
- I wouldn't say they make braking better, but they do drop a ton of weight. They work equally as well as stock on the street, and on the track is yet to be seen. October is my next track day.

I can answer any specifics you may have as well. Overall, they look badass, drop a ton of weight, and work equally as well as stock. I get questions on them just about everywhere I go. If you're okay with that, they're worth it.

Had them on our 1199 and still have them on our Diavel.

Best brakes I ever had and I don't have to sell them or use them, I choose to do so as I prefer them:D

Almost no brake dust, brakes just fine in wet and the same or better in dry conditions, major weight loss...................
