I saw a recent Facebook post where someone dropped their V2... it wasn’t pretty (see below).

It made me think about ordering some sliders. Does anyone know if AELLA makes a set for the V2? Any other brands I should look at? Thx. D0997162-BA8E-4E05-BF43-390C606BEC8E.jpeg

I have the sato on my 1299 but the v2 bodywork is different enough I am pretty sure they wont work. I was looking at my friends v2 last weekend and thinking it will be tough to add sliders.

considering how good of a track day bike it is they should have made a factory option for them

Just ordered from them. Very prompt shipping out of the UK. Germany has held an order for three weeks just to load it on a plane

Much needed post. Is one brand better than the other and will there be a need for fairing removal before install? R+G seems legit with shipping and the tidy tail would be a bonus all in buy..

Aella sliders look like they will snap off instantly.

I had a lowside crash couple of weeks ago on track with my Panigale V4. Started to rain just as I exited pit and entered first corner.. I think I had about 80 km/h speed and slid on tarmac and ended up to sand.

Luckily I had installed bunch of protectors which took the hit. Nothing on front or side fairings. Back fairing had couple of attachments snapped, so that needs changing. Mirror also snapped. I have the Aella frame sliders, DP front fork slider and CNC clutch & generator covers.

thanks for sharing and glad to hear you made it out ok.

I’ve installed the R&G ones. Took about 4hrs. They are seriously heavy duty. I’ve not dropped the V2, but they’re as sturdy as the R&Gs I’ve got on my RVF and they protected the bike when she went side down.
