It’s pani-.......-galE !!!

how can they put a misspelled bike name on a website??? Guess that’s how much they care...
Lol!!!

I think their brain cells were prolly tired after trying to create that internal db killer. Can’t imagine how you could quiet that beast down and have it still flow

If that silencer has 7O x 150mm core like the CR-T it is LOUD af

Ran the ceramic coating on the inside and outside of the headers and long tubes on my 1199S. Worked wonders. Also wrapped the pipes as well for additional reduction in heat, but didn't measure the heat with a gun before/ after. I could tell the difference however, and the stuff works.

On my 1199 I had the exhaust coated and I found that it was harder to put together since the outer diameter increased. In hindsight, I thought if I only had the inside coated it would have been a problem. Did you have any trouble installing it?
It did not cause any fit issues.

Here is a picture of the header after coating
Very nice

Anyone remember alum coated headers? Lil squiggly things would grow outta the alum lol. Used to see em more on old hot rods and boats than on bikes. Wonder if that is still being done? Maybe it dissipates the heat instead of keeping it in the gasses and that’s why ya never see em anymore?

^ I used Applied Plastic Coatings in Wheatridge Colorado for this work. I'm in AZ now so I'll be looking to find another company in the Phoenix area for my work to the V4S.

I tried installing the t800 on my ‘18 V4 and it was a horrible experience. The unit is glitchy and ultimately froze and corrupted my ECU turning my bike into a paperweight. I then had to return my bike to my dealer and pay to have the factory map reinstalled. After many emails back and forth with upmap they have wiped their hands of my case and have done nothing to help. Worst experience and I can only say to spend the extra cash and get a proper tune done . AVOID this product!!!

I remember reading somewhere that the ceramic coating changes the internal temp of the exhaust...so it saves you from getting too hot but raises the internal exhaust temp because the heat can’t “shed” as much through the header and can have an unintended bad effect on performance??

Engineers please chime in!

Pretty basic: you’re right. If the heat can’t escape here it has to go there... it’s all a trade off

I would assume it would raise engine temps then?

My 1299 stock header heat never bothered me, but then again I’m just a sliver a flesh compared to most!
