Slipper Clutch Question

I installed a Sigma slipper clutch in my 899 and just test rode it down the street. When pulling in the clutch I'm getting an odd feeling in the lever, kinda like a vibration/knocking feeling when I initially pull in the lever. Not the smooth hydraulic clutch motion I'm used to. Clutch feels fine when it's in neutral and when taking off from a stop. Its only occurring when riding and I pull in the lever.

Is this the slipper doing its thing and I'm just not used to it? :p
