Just finished the rear sprocket/chain upgrade for my 12' Panigale. No part of this service was easy other than removing the original chain; I have a nice tool that helps with pushing the pins out. Had to wait 4 days (thanks TPO for your immediate shipment) for the "special" tool to remove the left side nut. Then it took a 2 foot cheater bar with another 2 ft. pipe to bust the "silly"nut loose.... Holy cow folks! And then, the rear eccentric wouldn't move without being helped with a dead blow hammer.Something about the 12' series having siezed up hugs??? What ever happened to "quality-control?" My point being, if you're thinking about making this update yourself, save yourself some serious grief by taking it to your dealership..... There, now I feel better!
