SPAL fan for 1199?

Looks great- did mick make that fan mounting plate? It’s different than the one he pictured above. Also, is that the 5.2” SPAL fan?

I made all of it, plate, spacers etc. That fan is 5.2” and that thing is moving a lot of air. Keep in mind my bike is track bike only and I put that fan on to make sure temperature is kept in check if/when needed. I also run water wetter…

Ok cool thanks. I’m in hot Texas so I’m just trying to cool the bike down at all times, road and track.

Regarding water wetter— are you just running distilled water plus WW? I really don’t need freeze protection here in Austin and am just looking for ultimate cooling for the bike. So I’m considering dumping antifreeze and just going distilled water plus WW-

Definitely ditch the antifreeze been running distilled water and water wetter for 15 years never switch back to anything else so you will drop a few degrees as well.
