I finally got my two RC30's fully serviced and ready to run. Jim Granger in LA is the guru when it comes to these bikes and he gave them the full treatment. The RC45 is with him now and I can't wait to get it back home.

While we're all waiting for the new Ducati V4 I was thinking it was this bike that made me first fall in love with that motor.

Let's hope the Italian version is as good or better!

I need one of these in my life so badly. Beautiful! I used to hang out at the shop next to Jim's when it was a motorcycle shop called Apex Predator racing. Jim is a great guy and definitely a guru. Their old RC30 racebike made some serious power for what it was.

Small world! Jim is a great guy. He's got a running record of all the RC30's he's worked on. I think it's well into triple digits at this point.

They are fun machines for sure. So small and compact. The gearbox is buttery smooth and the motor is a gem. One of mine is a rider and one is a low mileage museum piece.

I think every sport bike enthusiast has to throw a leg over one of these at some point. Don't expect much grunt compared to just about anything built this decade, but they are special in their own unique way.

Nice posts, this is nice and refreshing after the SL tag team fights in other threads.
And great images.

Haha! I love the passion on this forum. We all love our bikes and that's what counts :D

Sorry it's not Ducati specific content, but I only seem to frequent this site and one other. Such good material on here!

KMY Your collections is awesome. Everything is top shelf. Thanks for sharing these and the previous pics.

its apples to oranges.. any V4 in the market now will handily beat the RC30 in every department :p

A beautiful pair. The first ones I saw were when I worked at Whittier Honda Kawasaki, these were delivered there for Two Brothers Racing . Of course you know this later became Erion Racing.

Beautiful motorcycles. I've always wanted an RC30. I will never forget the day we uncrated a new RC30 at the Honda dealer i worked at in 1990. stunning motorcycle to this day. Definitely #1 on my list.
