Hi Guys

When it comes bleeding brakes, I just didn’t have any sense about it. Numerous people explained; one ear in one ear out. Just doesn’t click for me.

Till today, the quick bleeder made the job so easy

Thanks BMW Alpina for guidance and Thomas at Stahlbus for further over telephone guidance.

By the way, where I can get some clamps for the hoses? The hose keep want to pop off the nipple.

When I installed the one on the brake master cylinder it hit my upper fairing at full lock. I used the 14mm long version.

It kinda did....

I am going to adjust the brake lever downward to clear that....

which somehow is kinda stuck.... weird....

Hi TsaiCo,
I am glad to hear it works well for you, by the way, may I know which hoses that you need to be clamped?
Did you replace the brake line/hose? for now, tie lock should work well just so it won't get pinch...

This hose was bought at local cycle gear store

I’m measuring it now so I can go buy a clamp tomorrow for next time.

Otherwise, one hand keeping the hose not popping off and one hand pumping the brake. Then you have to top it off. Should be easier then that; clamping the hose on the nipple should be the perfect scenario.

Oh, you are talking about the hose connected to the Stahlbus bleeder valve during the bleeding process... now I understand...
I think you just need to purchase smaller size hose so it is more tight, or just use a plastic tie lock that you can just cut after each use because if you are buying a metal clamp, when you try to take it off with a plier,
a bit of slip could make your plier scratch your master cylinder surface (or anything that is in close proximity).

I also end up buying a ninety degree for better reach into the space between wheel and caliper as well

That's what I need! Where did you get that please? Do you have a link?

There's a metal locating pin in the handlebar which stops rotation of the master cylinder bracket.
If you remove the master cylinder, you can either pull the pin out, or cut it off, then use a large drill bit or counter sink to remove the remaining protrusion.

Want to update people in case if you were looking for a bleeding kit. here is a clear picture what you will get

(notice the different size of nozzles to help to fit the bleeder)

so....how the heck did you remove the bolt?

i tried plier to yank it out, no grip on the bolt.

i tried Allen key and see if that would fit... no luck either...

Hi TsaiCo,
Yes, it is hard to remove, I believe I read somewhere in this forum on how one poster removed it... I forgot how he did it though...
anyway, rather than removing it, I decide to make it nicer to look, like it was a special fastener/pin ... guess how I did it :p

I use a Black Sharpie and paint it with Black Sharpie, then use a Cotton tip with alcohol to clean the area surrounding it that inadvertently get painted by the black sharpie :D

hahaha!

maybe I dermal it flat?

just want to make another note:

this is the taller size of the bleeder, to clear the caliper when taking them off from the fork, it regular some patient and different ways to maneuver the caliper.

I found this out by taking off my wheel and caliper to clean the brake dust.

Thanks, I'll take a look. One more comment:

I like the oil drain valve, I have something similar on one of my vehicles. However don't you lose having a magnet in the oil by using this instead of the stock bolt?

that’s seems to be case. but the convenience just maybe hook It up without loosen fairing bolts enticed me the most

i will let filter to do its job For collection of metal pieces

(incidentally, my last oil change didn’t show metal shaving too much?)
