Hi TsaiCo,
Yes, it is hard to remove, I believe I read somewhere in this forum on how one poster removed it... I forgot how he did it though...
anyway, rather than removing it, I decide to make it nicer to look, like it was a special fastener/pin ... guess how I did it :p

I use a Black Sharpie and paint it with Black Sharpie, then use a Cotton tip with alcohol to clean the area surrounding it that inadvertently get painted by the black sharpie :D

I upgraded the master on the 1199 today to rcs corsa corta and was struggling with the same problem. The OEM backing of the master has a small groove drilled into it which the corsa corta doesn’t have. Trying to put the RCS either side of the pin is exacerbating the clearance issues with the stock ignition module. I have ordered a Ducabike ignition race switch to help with clearance but think I am going to need to file down the nodule sticking out of the clip on to get the right clearance with both the reservoir and throttle unit. Assume provided tightened up enough there is no risk of the RCS master rotating though without the groove and pin ie the stock setup is just very cautious (don’t want to drill more holes in clip on and shiny new master)?

Suspect I will encounter same issues when I get around to doing the V4.

I used just a regular set of pliers to grip it. It spins pretty easily and you can pull it as you spin it. the more it moves out, the more of the pin you can grab with the pliers. They (the one on the brake side and the one on the clutch side) come out fairly easily.

Thanks guys had another go and got it out.

Back on topic - liking the flexibility concept of the speed bleeders and keen to hear how people find them long term.
