Hi,

Has anyone else experienced a speedsenor fault after doing a burn out?

It reset after the bike was shutdown for 5 minutes.

Interestingly I call the Ducati Assist hotline (Australia) only to be on hold for 58 minutes.

When the rear tire does not match the speed of the front you will get a speed sensor fault. This also happens when you try and dyno the bike without disconnecting the rear speed sensor. It all ties in with the traction control.

Ran into this little problem today. I can confirm that the was off after I left the bike off for 20 minutes. Not sure if it resets in 5, but 20 did the trick.

I've heard this for a couple years now but lately I've had about 15 dyno runs without disconnecting the rear speed sensor (all dyno runs before then were done with disconnecting it) and I have not seen a fault or any problem since then. Had about 8 runs done in a 10 minute period without disconnecting the rear wheel speed sensor and nothing popped up.
