Just read he's out for the rest of this season and will miss his first Ducati test.
He just had shoulder surgery and will be out 10-12 weeks. His bad luck continues, multiple mechanical failures/problems, 18 crashes and now this. Not a good start for his Ducati employment. I sure hope HE can adapt to the Ducati, not many have.

Yeah this does suck. Spies and his M1 are cursed I swear! Makes you kinda wonder why Lorenzo hasn't had any of the same issues?

That's a real bummer, getting some initial seat time on the Desmosedici would definitely be a plus for him. But he's shown the ability to be fast already, so it's not like an "unknown" can he ride a GP bike or not, and being a Superbike guy like Nicky that may help him adapt as well. Only time will tell........

I like Spies, but he's still missing that little extra something. Espcially this year, looks like he threw in the towel after Estoril. Too many Tequila shots with Colin?

Who could blame him after the string of freak occurences that either had him on the ground or back in the pits with mechanical problems all year! I hope we see the "old" Spies back next year, he's certainly got the talent in there somewhere, look what he accomplished his rookie season in World Superbike.

The Pramac bike suppose to be factory backed as well. His goal next year is to out ride Hayden, then the factory seat should be his.

I'm more interested in the World SBK Scene where our 1199 Panigales will be raced with Carlos Checa and Ayrton Badovini on Board!

Though, it will be nice to see what MotoGp and SBK have in stored for us next year!!! But I cant wait to see our Panigales race...as racing improves the breed!

i look forward to both moto gp and wsbk. i want to see the 1199 race. i also want to see what marc marquez can do. jorge and dani going at it should be fun. cant wait when rossi is second fiddle to jorge and make excuses on why he cant win. just a shame stoner wont be there. as for spies hope he comes back strong. would love to see him be in contention again.

I really believe Suzuki will renew their MotoGP effort in 2014 and Spies will end up there, or at least I hope. He will be fighting for 8th-10th place on the Pramac machine.

He and crazy Joe are getting factory spec GP13s, so one would think he would be on pace with Dovi and Hayden at the very least?
