Whore-gay is super human to keep up relative pace half blind.

Love that dude.

Ummm. Yeah.
Someone needs to tell that announcer that "whore-gay" is perhaps the worst pronunciation of JL's name ever.
It bothered me every time.
Reminds me when Ralph Shaheen kept saying "lorrentho". I and everyone else were like wtf? Turns out that's how you actually say it in Spanish. Go figure.
They still made him stop. :)

Brits struggle with non-American pronunciations. I think it is hilarious and I call my buddy whore-gay.

I don't mind waiting to watch it on fox sports 1 so i just have to avoid these threads but damn. What a way to start the season! 356km/hr for the gp15 bike. That is a monster! It was passin the m1 like it was nothing. Although i agree it is far too early to get excited about the gp15's future for this season, it's certainly an awesome start. I'm surprised they made a soft tire last an entire race, even with the known tire wear problems of Ducati's.

This season shall definitely bring a level of excitement that hasn't been present in moto gp for a lil while. The addition of Suzuki and Aprilia factory teams are also a plus, even though they won't be a contender of any sort. Still great to see a variety of bikes out there.

Good for the G.O.A.T. Rossi. Whether Marquez was there or not, he earned that victory workin his way through the ranks. Race 2 can't come soon enough!

I think he was trying to break at the last minute and was carrying too much speed.

After watching the race again this evening, it seem Dovi's issues on T1 may have been primarily attributed to diminishing edge grip. His brake points remain consistent throughout, yet he begins struggling to maintain the correct line a little over halfway through the race. The Yamahas also seemed to have a marked advantage in mid-corner speed deeper into the race, which could possibly support the edge grip theory. The additional downforce generated by the winglets would have surely accelerated tire degradation to some degree, but the answer as to whether the effect was significant likely lays within Ducati's collected data. I'll be interested to see whether they reemerge at COTA.

Maybe i confused that with a "softer" tire than the other factory bikes.

Nonetheless, they made it an entire race. Huge improvement over last year.

Will things change when they are on the podium enough to not be able to use the softer tire?

The power of the GP15 on the straights was crazy!

yet sometimes it appeared that the ducs were running into JLo at the apex... but could not really get past... (first half of the race)
