VR46 has a record that might have made him the GOAT (2nd to goat actually), until last weekend when a bambino di merda toyed with him like a yoyo, then lost his cool and showed the quality of individual he really is. definitvely no GOAT. independently of GOAT no GOAT, rossi followers seem to think that his record justifies him being above the rules, can anyone give me an adult explanation for that?

How does last weekends debacle take away all his career accomplishments? Wether he lost his cool and acted poorly and incorrectly against MM doesn't change what he's done in racing and for MotoGP as a sport wether you or anyone thinks he's the GOAT or not. No, I don't beleive his record provides justification for his actions or puts him above the rules. And just to be clear I'm not a Rossi follower but a follower of MotoGP as a whole. Is that an adult answer for you? :)

well put flo. .. we got the pedtard to go along w the marktard up in here...

and VR is the GOAT (adjusting his riding style to go along w/ computerized bikes is no small feat in and of itself) and he's as of this post leading motogp yet once again, with just a single race left!

ps even the GOAT is human & not infallible....everyone makes mistakes, assuming in this specific case you think he really did off MM.... everyone makes mistakes, even parents of 'tardz..

I agree that VR's accomplishments throughout the ever changing sport are what make him the GOAT. Will MM surpass VR as the GOAT? Only time will tell...

And yes, all people are human and make mistakes and that doesn't necessarily define who they are as a whole at that one given moment.

I think pedrin and Mark are entitled to their views and opinions and not all will agree but I don't think that makes them tardz. It has made for some entertaining reading tho. :D

that is well reasoned explanation so yes sir, in my book that is a perfectly mature answer.

Rossi "Whats that smell?"

Press "Thats just MM bull Sh!t"

Rossi "Ahhh"

it is deeply within the nature of Japanese culture to be diplomatic.

One great example was the message Yamaha sent to Masao Furosawa when Furosawa was approached by Ducati to act as an engineering consultant, and perhaps even take over Preziosi's position as head of Ducati Corse; certainly they were putting out feelers for Furosawa to take a leading engineering role in Ducati Corse, as Furosawa had retired from Yamaha.

It sure sounded nice and polite, but it basically meant "if you take a job with Ducati, we will ostracize you completely in Japan, make sure you never get any work again in Japan, and hell, we might send the Yakuza after you to collect a few of your fingers."

Obviously, although Furosawa was very interested in the Desmosedici project, he visited Italy on Ducati's dime, had a nice vacation, talked briefly with Preziosi about nothing specific, then went home.

it is argued, as is the case with Niccolo Canepa, that an impact to the right forearm can cause a reflex contraction of the fingers.

brake lever guards also make it difficult to directly kick another person's brake lever. The best scenario I can come up with that's "anti-Rossi" is that Rossi pushes MM's forearm with his shin, causing MM to grab the brake lever and go down. I believe this is what actually happened. This leads to two possibilities:

- Rossi took careful aim and hit MM's forearm, calculating that MM would reflexively grab the brake and go down
- Rossi pushed out with his shin after MM made clear contact with Rossi. This shin push may have caused Marquez to fear losing his grip on the right handlebar, and so he grabbed for it, also grabbing the brake lever he was covering with his fingers.

It really is impossible to determine if Rossi's leg movement was an offensive aimed attack, or a defensive push off. Occams Razor dictates the latter to be more likely.
