Stole this off fb: I watched a slow motion video, although Rossi did intentionally run wide, Marquez turned into him and in the video you can see what Rossi said here is true. Marc claimed to race direction that Rossi kicked his brake lever but the slo motion footage shows mark to be lying about the incident.
I'm not makeing excuses for Rossi, as I still think he should have run the race and not throttled out that deep in a corner in the upright position knowing they were both pushing 100% till that corner.
Really disappointed in both of them and also Lorenzo for trying to pile on the .... to look good as he clearly passed Rossi on a yellow flag and attempted to skirt the questions at the conference to pile it on Rossi more

Mm wanted to .... around with vale, he didn't mind crashing ... These Southern Europeans are very proud of their nations. Of course he wanted to help another Spanish rider.


And btw mark, your sig formatting blows donkey balls

Maybe this is why it's not "strategy" to call out the fastest rider on the grid that has nothing to lose. It's just stupid.
 
So you gotta know that Jlo will not like winning the championship this way. The ego and pride that he has. Will it really feel like he earned it?...

I agree, my first reaction was that MM turned into VR...and the replays only supported what I thought I saw. I am reluctant to say VR should have ran his fastest and ignored MM, because it was pretty clear MM wanted to play with VR. In which case, I would have done the same thing VR did...

Kind of a shame...as great as all the drama is, I just want the best man to win the championship.
 
just in from the I WANT TO APPEAL MY VERDICT!

Valentino Rossi lodged an appeal with the FIM Stewards against the decision of the Race Direction. He was requested to attend another hearing with the FIM Stewards.

The FIM Stewards unanimously confirmed the Penalty Imposed by the Race Direction.

According to Art. 3.4.2.2 of the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Regulations no further appeal may be lodged when FIM Stewards confirm the previous decision of the Race Direction.
Since the rider already had 1 previous penalty point, the sanction for accumulating 4 penalty points is to start the next race from the back of the grid.

Thus Valentino Rossi will start the Gran Premio MOTUL de la Communicat Valenciana from the last position of the grid.

Well looks like the "GOAT" has a chance still to prove he is, or not win the title.
 
Few points I would like to make here.

1. MM got everything he deserved, he has been a dangerous rider and has damn near and crashed Rossi before being a tool and the dark part of me says Finally about damn time someone gave him a taste of his own medicine.

2. Watch the video once or a thousand times MM lowered into Rossi and hit him. Rossi pushed his knee out to get him off of him. Next time keep the bike up Marc and pass him in the next corner

3. I am heavily disappointed in Rossi. As a fan of his from the beginning, I expect his to take the high road. He intentionally ran wide to slow Marc down and make his point. I don't agree with him doing it as he should have been better than that and just passed him in the corner like he could have done and just battled it out.


Saying that I cannot sit here and say that I would have taken the high road with MM. I probably would have blocked his ass so hard that his bike shut off or cut his lines and make him crash like MM did to him and others in his career so far.. But who are we to question these Demi-God of the Motorcycle racing world. When is the last time you continued to turn the other cheek and not teach someone the hard lesson they needed to learn?

From what I can see, Rossi's leg did not move until after Marc hit it.

there was one view they only showed it once it was from behind and ariel view.
clearly you can see him do it before they touch. danny and jlo must have saw that view too. rossi is too important for recognition to keep showing it. it has magically disappeared i will try and get it off the feed

so why not have 46 and jlo race in valencia and the rest of the grid can race after so that 46 won't cry that other people are there. you have to be kidding me.

so the last place team is playing a team trying to get into the playoffs (pick your sport football hockey baseball) and they shouldn't play.

beat him and stop crying maybe if rossi was faster he could pass marc and gap him guess not. again you are the team crying when the other team scores and dances in your end zone. solution don't let them score

its a glorious signature. you know why it proves that rossi isn't a man. see that part leaves helmet on. PU C. 46 set this up incase he got caught by jlo. it backfired. MM knows it JLO knows it danny knows it jarvis knows it hell 46 whole crew knows it. see all their faces. more importantly rossi knows it

funny how everybody rossi fan misses that part. well not me. looked for him 3 times to push him wide.

not to mention why .... with a guy that can ruin it all for you and is FASTER than you.

finally do you guys think this is a MM and JLO thing? really i guess you should rewatch the season. JLO may benefit sure but this is a rossi MM thing stemming from when marc beat him into the final turn and rossi cut the corner. then rossi personally attacked marc .

as mike said MM may have gotten what he deserved maybe not but i can assure you who is the real loser ? well marc didn't have a shot at the title this year and the one guy who does has big problems now . i guess we will see nov8.

thats the one. wish it was bigger you can clearly see the leg came out first then the touch. listen rossi hasn't given up the position in many races when the guy beats him to the spot. examples laguna MM. i think assen against MM. the one when he cut threw to win

Dude.. Marc bumped Rossi off the track. Marc lost cause he rode stupid and pushed Rossi off and Rossi won because of that. Its been going on longer than that too ;)
