Howdy. Debated saying hello publicly since I don't own a 1199 nor have any plans to. Worst still... My bike has roundels on it :eek:

Yet I've been lurking on here for quite some time. Not to find fuel for the Ducati vs BMW war (cause I don't care which side wins so long as I enjoy my ride). But because valuable information is found anywhere. Riding techniques, new gear reviews, solutions to problems common between all 2 wheeled vehicles and yall do say some funny chit sometimes :D Plus I got tired of missing out on all the pretty pictures :p

So once again, howdy. You may now commence in stringing me up. Just no poking with sharp objects.

Btw... I have a 2011 s1000rr, which is pre-heated grips. The frame makes great hand warmers in winter ;)
 
I have a S1000rr as well - you will eventually want the 1199. Shhhh, I won't tell anyone on the S1000rr forum.

Get your ... back over to S1000RRforum.com, we don't need your kind around these parts:D. I too had a '11 S1KRR, but got bored with it. Read my write up on Pani in the S1lounge in the "Panigale R is trying to catch up to HP4" or something of that nature. I am Motif on that site BTW.

Figured you were Motif, Castor. The post style is a dead giveaway. No worries. Your double agent status is safe over there :p

Aside from Duc emblazoned gear and heat tubs... err, I mean heat sinks... um heat wraps I do look for gear and af parts suggestions. And honestly I could see a Ducati eventually maybe in the long future. Maybe a Monster... I love my s1k and I plan to love my HP4 when it eventually gets in my hands :D
