Leave it on IMO, it's "OEM". It's the noobs with base and S models who add the sticker on that have something to prove .
I bought one..still have it.. never installed it..
i ordered one too but i dont know if i will actually put it on either
R : sticker
Others : no sticker
Mark is obviously referring to the non R models ..... No one questions the sticker on the R...which is Oem..
I bought one from a vendor on eBay Italy last December and didn't put it on. Then the R came out and now I will never put it on. It does look good though, I think if you like it put it on. You can always remove it. I'm looking for a Desmosidici RR sticker now.
i ordered it last night. it wasnt expensive but now i am torn. everybody at work i asked (non riders) says put it on breaks up all the red.
I have a vinyl wrap on my base (a glorified sticker ) with "Ducati Corse" on either side. I also striped my wheels. Did both before the "R" ever debuted. I didn't do it because I was posing. I did it because I believe my base looks better. I did the wheels because black tires on black wheels IMO has no contrast. I get nothing but complements and people taking pictures of my base. In fact I was at a local bike night a few weeks ago and a guy walked by with his friend, pointed at my bike and said "that's the best looking bike here all others should go home". True or not that kind of stuff puts a smile on your face and is one reason why I ride a Ducati. But back on topic; for me Posing is taking a Base or and "S" and slapping 1199 Panigale R logos on the fairing. But in the end, its your bike do whatever makes you happy, screw everyone else!!I'm torn on this one. It's all about what the word "Corse" really means to anyone. It means "race", and I pretty much get that. And the "R" is meant to be the production racer of the bikes. But seeing as how the "R" already has one unique designation - the "R" itself, does it really need to have a second unique designation (Corse)?
I have mixed emotions on this one. I do like it and when I was trying to decide on the bike I had thought it might be something I'd want to break up the red. But now that I've had it a few months I'm kind of liking the simple look that it has already.
How about putting read stripes on the wheels of a "base" model? Where do we draw the line in being a poser?
