Hi phil found the other articles as well. Thanx for the info. I have mine striped and will put two paralele perforated tubes in which run to the back compartiment and then back to the outlet. I only wonder if the termignoni have damping wool around the perforated pipes? Would be tricky because it not practical after the mufflers have been welded again. So i think i'll only have a baffle welded between the two pipes.

Haven't heard of the damping wool...

Exhaust #3 is on its way to South Africa!

1199 cored cans

Well first off phil im so sorry it took so long to get on here and post reviews about your coreing of my exhaust!! However I had to show it off alittle and through dyno and testing was required... Most at the dealer said it was the baddest sound coming from a duc they had ever heard! Honestly turns heads everywhere I go, and theres nothing better then drowing out a loud inline or harley.... Dont get me wrong not hating on either, but there are those annoying few....you know who you are!!! Anyway I'll post up pics as soon as I can get into my garadge from this lovely ice storm!

Just rode the bike with the FM trim applied on the tune boy- holy cow! Time to go on the dyno, I have great expectations!

Another happy "customer": Duc102 on here from Arkansas, replied to my question if he heard it yet:

"Yes I did get to hear it and it sounds ten times better then any other exhaust! Turns heads everywhere I go!"

Thanks for poasting for me phil! I'll send more info on full dyno tune with mwr air filter with plate adjustment kit after I get back from the dealer on the 21st! Thanks for the sweet exhaust again!

Hey Phil, this is Thomas from Atl. You wrote me back once letting me know you were out of the country, I'm contacting you now to see if you're back so that I can get my 1199 exhaust done. my e-mail is [email protected] Let me know, thanks

Hey Phl, Im interested in buying a second set of cans and sending them to you for coring. Just had a couple of questions:

First, have you figured out a source for ceramic coating? If so, how much would the total be for ceramic coated pipes and cans (like in the picture on post #31)?

Secondly, have you had a chance to dyno with the new trim files for the tune boy?

Thanks in advance.

Hi kx,

No, nothing new on both fronts...

But we have a high temp oven at work now so I will use the zombie cans for coating trials, but will also try to get it quoted in the area. The coating you see there is just on the sleeves of the cans, not on the headers, that's the first gen heat shield.

Regarding the tuneboy, no specific trim yet but I will order the wide and kit soon and get it tailored ...

Sounds good, can you shoot me a PM with how you work this? i.e. where do I send the cans, how long you need them for, etc. I am going to try and buy and extra full exhaust and just have it shipped straight to you. Thanks in advance.

Sounds good. I am still en route back from Europe but I should have all set by Tuesday and find some time to send you the details.
