"Stock" Superleggera Exhaust, available to buy?

Regardless of all those (mostly tax-based) negatives, I'd still live here as a motocyclist since the rest of the country still does not allow lane spitting (which is supposed to change for a few states)—which as a "real" money making motorcycle riding commuter makes more sense to me than everything else that is a supposed freedom. Seriously, I'd rather have my motorcycles than my guns any day of the week.

Just my less than 2 cents opinion.

As with scrapper, I'm riding most of the year, no hassles with cops unlike most other states.

Yep I know about that but they cannot stop you unless you violated some other law first. The cops don't even bother the sport bike riders with exhaust it was meant for the Hogs and their straight pipes. Those even annoy me. They only enforce it in the "influential" housing area. As long as you have some type of muffler on they don't care.

Fair enough... I just happened to read about it over the weekend in a sportbike magazine. The article went on to say this might be the beginning of the end for aftermarket exhausts, particularly in California and other states that are conducting motorcycle only traffic stops.

I am not hating on California, however I just caution that if you don't stop a leak soon after it starts, it quickly begins to start gushing out of control...

Everytime a new (motorcycle) vehicle law goes live there's a lot of talk, but rarely does it get enforced—less so with motorcycles. We do live in a weird ass state tho.

I remember when I was riding an S2R1000 with Termi's (no baffles) I just bought from SoCal to SF and had pulled in for lunch from the 101 and a CHIP bike cop pulls into the lot and parks next to me—I was sure he'd cite or ticket me for loud pipes. He says, "I heard you before I saw you coming over the hill towards me". I think "crap" and my hand starts to move towards my wallet when he says how much he loved the sound and proceeds to talk shop with me about racing and exhaust systems.

LEOs are less concerned with motorcycles in this state than what most other states I've been in. I've slowed down from obviously speeding in speed traps and next to LEO cars and never have I seen any reaction. Never seen motorcycle-focused vehicle roadside stops/inspections ever in California.

Hey peoples from the stated of California this why I saluted you, It don't matter how .... up your state is you guy look at it with a positive attitude

I am fairly confident this DOES NOT fit a stock 1199 exhaust, as the flanges are different.

You are probably much better off with a slip on termi vs the cost to get this one added.
