Anyone have some tips on some street jeans? Looking to find a pair of reinforced jeans for street usage. Something I can street ride with and not worry about messing up my legs in a crash, but won't look like a weirdo going out in public with them on. The only thing I have found so far is "Draggin Jeans" with reinforced Kevlar sewn into the pants. Not very stylish, but just looking at some different options if anyone knows of any.

I have recently after seeing a few accidents , I started wearing my full leathers more often and I still think that's the best protection.

However I Personally have a pair of these by Teknic Violator Denim Jeans | Textile Jackets & Pants

I bought them because besides being made of Kevlar etc which they all seem to be these days, they also came fitted with CE knee protectors and have leather re-enforcement.

I also recently came across these jeans which are apparently the only jeans certified to level 2 CE protection like leathers. I'll look to get some soon and try at see how they are.

Hope that helps.

Huh ? As I said " I have " .. For over size months.

i thought i had seen these before as well until i went to order them on the website. the merchant is calling them a preorder and says n/a until summer. maybe it's just "new" to them; know of any other place to get them from today? been looking for these since last year but they have always been oos...with everybody on the web in practically every size. maybe revzilla is finally getting some in; however, from reading the other posts, it appears there are lots of other good jeans options to explore.

I don't disagree at all that full suits are the best protection. But they are very hot, very tight, and you would look like a knucklehead showing up to class or a club in a full suit! Hence why I would like to find a good pair of reinforced jeans. This is all very good feedback! I have been looking at all of the different kinds of kevlar jeans. I might try to get in touch with STG to see if they have anything or have reviewed some of the jeans themselves as well. Where did you buy the Alpinestars from btw?

Oh! And I am loving the look of the hornee jeans, especially on this hornee girl! ;)

I agree completely! I have to stop wearing regular jeans and get something a little more protective. I had a lowside on my Ducati 848 over a year and a half ago. Was only going 25-40 mph or so. Lady cut me off after looking right at me pulling out of a parking garage. She probably doesn't realize how fast bikes approach. Tore through my jeans and scraped up my knee pretty good. Jacket was fine, didn't have but a scratch on it. Was wearing my Ducati padded jacket. I don't want to post pictures and gross anyone out. Minor scrapes though, little scarring. It hurt like hell though!

You hit upon the same problem I have in an earlier post. I ride bikes for transportation as well as fun so wearing leathers or riding pants for fun rides isn't the problem. The problem is when I ride to work or somewhere where I can't show up in motorcycle gear. In those instances I wear low cut boots, jeans, jacket, gloves and helmet. Once I remove the helmet, jacket and gloves I can pass for a "normal dude". I have a couple pairs of riding pants that are just too burly for normal wear in those situations so I need something that is casual enough that I can pull it off and not sweat bullets, but that offers more protection than regular jeans.
