I like your choices, I was looking at the BMWs, but I really like the Tamburinis. The 3 really cover it all!! (pun intended!)

They're not too bulky to me, after a few rides they've broken in nicely. Decent armor in the knees, thin little things for the hips. Pretty comfortable.

They are true to size in the waist. The length is a little long, but I like it when they don't ride up your calf when you're riding. They're pretty stiff at first, but after a few rides they're loosening up. I really like them.

OP, thanks for creative this thread. This motivated me to order ForceField---Limb Tubes, Action Shirt and Action shorts to compliment my Sliders jeans.

Icon uses those inserts (i know i know, squidly gear) and their protection level went through the roof! Quality is outstanding.

The limb tubes are very comfortable. Couple times when I was running late to work I didn't bother taking them off. But the comfort is deceiving. They feel very solid
