Im waiting for my local dealer to get a SFV2 in stock to test ride…im 260lbs and was wondering how the rear of the bike would be for me off the show room floor…any bigger guys ride this bike?…also does anyone know of a company that sells a aftermarket rear suspension that could be swopped if the stock is too soft for my weight?…Thanks!

You'll need stiffer springs front and rear to get the bike setup properly. Ohlins, Bitubo, Mupo etc. if you want to replace the rear shock.

Ok im having a hard time trying to find suspension parts on this bike let alone just finding higher rated springs…you know any websites that would help me?…

You'll probably get better results searching for Panigale V2 stuff. The 899, 959, Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 are all based on the same platform.

Ok…didnt know the parts was compatible…

Just let whoever you order from know that its going on a Streetfighter V2. There may be some linkage differences in the rear suspension, but it wouldn't be anything major.

I’ll ask the dealers service department directly…want to get a idea of how much this will cost…might not want the bike depending total cost…
