Superleggera vs. 'R back to back on track

I would imagine for a R owner who can afford it, they could have a SL spec'd engine for $4-5k depending on cost of fitting the extra Ti Valves plus the SL cams and pistons and then getting you R crank done to SL spec.

That's my intended route + Ti wrist pins, radius leading edge & knife edge trailing ends of crankshaft flywheels

dead hang pullups sound like fun. Upper body strength increases as you get older past teenage years, unless you are Italian or Greek (upper body since birth), your cardio tend to lose out later on. I'm a buck-20 and can do 10 pullups without training (my natural limit), but I will throw down 70+ proper pushups with training and that number is going up as I age. I know that doesn't mean much to you Italians and leathernecks, but in the end its all relative, and in my case, it gives the flabbier set something to strive for :) Ride safe!

First Track Ride on Ducati Westlakes' Superleggera

Can't wait for the video

Here's part one of the GoPro video from Thermal Club on Ducati Westlakes' Superleggera. I'm not blindingly fast by any means, just getting the tires up to temp and figuring her out. Very fun bike fo sho!!! Part two has a little better pace. I believe I was hitting 165mph on the back straight which is not very long.

Well I'd love to own an SL but the R is fine for me. Corner speed and exit speed will keep the SL a bay on the straights ;)

Late braking will help too...lol.

Watch a guy this weekend from CSS decimate everyone using an 899, that includes the guys riding the S1000rrs and a guy on a Honda legends CBR. (Oh yeah me too on my R...lol).

So once I start riding like davide I will call Ducati bitching...lol.

The 2015 R is an 1299 I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well if that's the case I don't know what model there going to running in WSBK next year. One model is going to have to either be left as an 1199, or they will be running last year's, (meaning this year's) bike. Which is not unusual for Ducati.
