Team Alstare added a trellis subframe to the 1199 looking for grip...hmmm

Not sure if any of you've seen it already, but I found it interesting to see that perhaps Ducati is coming to grips with admitting the frameless design is flawed.

Nothing wrong with how it works on my bike. Nothing flawed on my 1199. Grips just fine.

Maybe you just got a dud. LOL:)

Is sstk = wsbk ?

sstk seems to do pretty fine...
What would be flawed with our 1199?

No doubt, the trellis subframe does look sexy!

It was designed to house the extra tank capacity mounted below the seat, the stock cast seat mount is solid and therefore does not allow it.

Cheers

Nothing to do with trying to improve grip. That's not the word in the paddock..next expert...

Note the "via flex" part of my post. There to move fuel around, thus it's a weight distribution mod. Everybody's always trying to find the ideal center of mass for the spec tires, no matter the series.

+1 I also thought the issues was lack of top end power.

+1.
I raced a friends 2012 Kawasaki zx10r.
Crushed him a few times. But there were two races that we were neck and neck and when we both get it in 5th gear he starts to walk away. (slowly but still)

so now the tank is not just above the rear cylinder, but also above the rear header loop.:eek::eek:
