Yup, that is the DP eliminator.

You want to hear a deal-of-the-century story, I bought all this stuff pre-owned in MINT condition 2 weeks before I even bought my Pani:

1. Termi Slips and Up-Map, $1,000
2. S Wheels with Rotors, 5K miles, $1300
3. DP Race Seat, $125
4. DP Comfort Seat, $100
5. DP Tail Tidy, $125
6. Rizoma RRC Rearsets - $275
7. MotoXP Ricambi Carbon Tex Race Fairings (6.6 lbs full set), new never mounted/painted - $500

Ouch!

Does the word ....... mean anything to you?? :D.. especially with lucky in front of it....

Sorry to hijack, and sorry if you posted in one of the seat threads, but since you have both, which seat do you like better? I have the race and find myself wishing it was a bit cushier on longer, commuting type rides.

The DP Race seat I have was modified slightly by the previous owner and re-shaped to lower the seating position. I still found it quite cushy compared to the rock-hard, slippery OEM seat. The DP Comfort seat is my preference though. It does have a lot more support than my Race seat, is as tall as the OEM to keep you further from the heat, but far more compliant. The most important upgrade to me over the OEM seat is that both have very nice grippy covers. If I hadn't found such a deal on both seats, I would have gotten a Luimoto or some other aftermarket cover at the very least to improve grip.

I agree comfort seat rocks..... As long as you are not vertically challenged in the leg dept....

I view the seat thing as the only area where this forum failed me... A lot of the initial seat threads had members saying they found the Race seat more comfortable because it was lower and therefore didn't put as much strain on your wrists as the comfort. Ok, I was sold. Then I believe it was antihero that first came out with pics showing the race and comfort seat are infact the exact same height, making the wrist argument due to changed ergonomics BS. So apparently the only difference between the 2 is softer padding and different visuals on the comfort. oh well

Well Trans... as an owner of a Comfort seat and a previous owner of the racing seat I for one will state that the comfort seat is very nicely padded and makes riding distances so much better.... I do agree that the profiles of the 2 seats are exactly the same and that they both lift you by around an inch (approx) Comfort seat looks better imho and is "cushier"....

Hmm. Wasn't around for that one. I can't comment as the previous Race seat owner showed me specifically how it was modified to specifically have him sit lower in the saddle and be more forward canted. My Comfort seat was unmodified and basically unused, as a friend with a Tri didn't like it but subsequently totaled his Tri and sold it to me for $100 since it was just laying around.

Exactly, my issue was I found that out in the newer threads after I had bought the Race based on the previously incorrect info on this forum. Like I said, only time this forum has let me down so far. Just annoying because I'm now sure I'd prefer the comfort seat and it's an extra $250 ontop of the $260 i already spent for the Race. Had i known nothing of this forum, I would just gone comfort based on the name lol. But the posts about added height over the race and pressure on wrists/back scared me away

Well I am sorry you were misled in the past and if I was part of that I doubly apologise...when the bikes seats were launched there was initial confusion vis a vis the seat profiles....
