I haven't posted in a long time but I finally got back to riding after a 4 yr hiatus. I've got the itch again after going to Chuckwalla last Fri and looking to install the Termignoni Force undertail exhaust.

For those who have an undertail exhaust or the Austin exhaust, are these any issues with heat affecting the tail section?

No not an issue however there are two other notes. The good news is that the heat roasting my giblets has greatly been reduced the bad news is that you will have to relocate your passenger seat key access.

The DROC was at Chuckwalla. You should join us for track days and group rides

This past Friday with 2WTD? I did see a few Ducati groups in the back section. One by the cart track and on the other side across the Dunlop garage. Was that you guys?

Do you have that exhaust mounted on your bike? If so, can you post some pics of it? Did it come with the Upmap? My 1199 is a dedicated track bike so I wouldn't have to worry about the lic plate bracket, foot pegs and passenger seat key. Good to know though if I decide to put the street fairings back on.

That FM prolly makes more HP than anything else ya can buy

Holds twin top speed record on the 3000’ straight away at Mugello (204 n change)

Sorry Akra fans

You do not need a 75mm primary tube to make power

That 63mm FM is proof : )

Damn, that looks so good!

First I had it on my 959 above then I bought a like new 1299 and found this pipe a FM Project EVO 7

I looked at the FM pipes too but thought the lower pipe would interfere with the heel. Was that an issue? I wear a size 12.

Don I'm a size 10.5 and use Woodcraft restarts in a stock like position and found no issues. I fear that stopping at say a stop sign that I might put my foot down and burn an ankle but that never happened. And I could easily add another carbon guard. I only wish that it wasn't SS which look like .... in no time and aren't light.

Purdy sure the size 10 guy is Arnie

Those under belly’s LOOK nice

There are those who care about looks

There are those who care about sound

And then there are those who care about POWER

And even the power guys are split up. People spending a bunch of money trying to get better mid range outta a motor that ain’t got 2.5” of stroke

Smoked : )

Is there another Arnold? I wear a size 12. I like weight savings, power, sound, ergos and no melted fairings like the early Termis did. haha

I'm assuming the Termi Force also adds some power, correct? Another concern is losing the Sato race hooks that I have mounted to my passenger pegs. It's the only additional tie down I have when it's strapped to my truck.

Fwiw by the seat of the pants I felt that the Force system was not as strong as the Termi Ti headers and front exit cans. And since it's SS vs Ti heavier and will turn brown and stain, I guess you get what you pay for. On the plus side removing the loop under your nuts will reduce some heat.

Are you referring to the CF front exit Termi cans? I remember those paired with the titanium headers was the best setup but on the pricy side.
