Hi,
New to the Ducati scene and have neither used either of these brands. Looking for recommendations for the V4. I know the termignoni is kind of the Ducati staple.

Welcome!
Arrow is great on my triumph, but that’s a $700 exhaust. I have the akrapovic on my 1299 and it’s definitely top notch.
I think it’s going to come down to the look for you if weight savings isn’t a big factor to you

Which v4 do u have?

Yeah more complexity and eventual cost. I had to have the S model for the OE LED headlights.

There’s a guy on here that can gut the factory muffler which obviously means downtime but I do like the look of the factory exhaust.

I like the look of the Akra on the v4 too but it’s like $6k installed. I think even the slip ons are like $5k installed

Arrow is solid and it looks good.
I cut off the big yellow logo that was riveted on, nice and clean

can i trouble you to post a pic of the bike from farther back? Also so you think the akrapovic lower would fit?

I’m also new to Ducati universe, been learning a lot from the forum. Incidentally, my first unexpected experience was exhaust purchase and installation. Oh boy! The business model certainly different from where I was from (BMW).

Bottom line, Ducati dealer only recognizes akrapovic as only brand to associate with. Be ready to assert your self clearly and know your fundamentals mechanical / electronic skills to battle with warranty, in the meantime diplomatically build your relationship with your dealership.

I personally believe all brands has their niche in the market. Price, design or other factors, I suggest it’s the experience you’ve been looking for would be the exhaust to get.

Get a nice slip on for 1,500

And a termi up map for 300 bucks

Don’t need to fall into their 5 k exhaust game

Unless you really need to have it, in that case, it is your money

Look at jesters as well. I just bought one but haven't received it yet. I'd put it in the same league as arrow, but it looks better to me. They make 2 versions. The one I bought needs the Akra lower fairings and has a similar style as the akra (brake side can angled up, shifter side can is underbelly).

jester68, that is beautiful!
Do u know if replacing the factory pieces with this system will remove all the cats?
Also, how do u have ur bike’s ECU tuned?

I feel like ppl who buy and install your system can also buy and install an ECU tune and still save half the cost of one of those “Ducati Tax” brand exhaust systems installed at the dealer

Nice work!
