Sent dash and ignition to Ducati Parts Unlimited DucatiPartsUnlimited.com for rekey after keys and card were lost
Was signed for at D.P.U.
No communications from them so I emailed (He doesn’t do phone calls)
The owner Oscar replied he did not receive it despite it being signed for and told me to get proof of signature from USPS
I did and sent to him and he said it wasn’t his signature and he is the only one who signs for packages
I drilled down a little and he says it is an ongoing issue that delivery people sign for it themselves and leave it in the mail room because they don’t want to go to the third floor where he is located then the packages get stolen
Really? You have people sending you thousands of dollars in parts and your mail isn’t secure? Rent a POB dude.
Then he says make a claim with USPS, and he will provide a police report and whatever I need
I jump through the hoops to do that and claim was denied because package was delivered. I ask him for the police report and a written statement that he didn’t receive it (he had offered to do that) and NOTHING
A month later and still nothing after a bunch of polite emails to him and he still hasn’t done what he said he would do so I sent another email (no phone number he won’t talk on the phone). My email said “Hey man, this is ....... important. I would appreciate it if you would treat it that way. This needs to get resolved, and I need you to do the things you said you would do and get back to me with them. “
Then Oscar gets all bent out of shape because I swore.
Then he says that the package showed up a month after it was signed for. Ummmm. You sure you didn't just misplace it?
I say don’t make the key please send it back. He says "Best news I've heard all day, send a pre-paid label". I ask him if he can just send it out and I'll pay him he says nope. So I have to figure out how to do that when his crappy logistics caused the problems. I send the label.
Then he puts my box in a bigger box which weighed more, but didn’t tell me that so USPS dinged me for that and almost didn’t deliver it
All in all the Oscar was a complete .... with a crap attitude and less than zero customer service, and because of his BS I lost 6 weeks of riding time and almost lost $1800 in parts.
I HIGHLY recommend not dealing with this selfish d-bag.
I have since heard that SOS Diagnostics in Oregon is the best.
