Hello hello all. Today was a dream come true, after wanting a 1199, and then a 1299, and now wanting a V4. Im in the position to purchase. I currently ride a '17 ZX-10r with full akra, air filter and flash/tune making round 191hp. Today tho I did a demo ride on a V4s. The bike is amazing, love the sound, the feel, and how beautiful it is. Concerns/differences in rides I notice, I feel like I'm sitting forward/higher on bike, like I can almost look at the headlights, lol, rather than being in the bike like my current zx10r and previous s1000rr. Also when moving body position while entering turn had some issues getting a good feel with my feet on rear sets. Rearsets felt more pushed/pigeon toed on bike. Any thoughts to my findings? Besides all that, I still plan on getting the V4s this coming Monday. Dealership local to me has a Corse OTD for 29750 and v4s OTD 27750. These are some of the better prices I've seen listed, can get a corse for price other dealerships are charging for v4s. Any opinions would be appreciated. I'm excited for my 1st Ducati. Just have to make my mind on which one I want.

Dont have any pricing advice but congrats on the bike. Im also a Kawasaki convert I enjoy mine so far.

Ducs are more race oriented and feeling than Kawi, that's for certain.
I came off a GSXR, same thing, sat in the bike.
I got my first Duc in 17' was a 959
Now I own a Panigale R and a RFE.
Now I am married to these things.
The previous bikes like the 1199 - 1299 are even more pitched.
The 916-1198 are even more so.
Panigale bikes in general are race replica bikes with blinkers.
I track my 1199r and street and one in a while track my FE.
That is what these bikes do best.
I suggest everyone do at least one track day on their bikes to see how they behave in their environment.

Thanks man, lol, I guess I'll have to get use to it. Felt a little weird at 1st. Lol, thanks 1299rfe

Corse is just glorified wraps, unless you like the look and want to parking lot pimp, just get the regular V4S and just pimp/track with that.

LolI like it and all, but dont know if it's worth extra 2k just to be different.it wouldve been nice if Dovi wouldve won championship so the colors meant something other than celebrating 2nd place motogp championship again

I've got the Corse. I knew if I got a regular V4S in red, I'd been bored of it after 6 months.

Man I chose the Corse also. It's a gorgeous bike, dont think it's as flashy/Ferrari'ish as the Ducati red, but I love how different it is. My one fear, is that I need a single fairinghow much harder it's going to be to get one 2md hand....I get the bike monday
