Here is my PISTA Element design.

wont open for me i cant see

Isn't this the helmet with the built in burka to combat the 5 head problem? That one was an immediate option #1 in my book.

That's an awesome helmet!

I just took delivery of my Nexx XR1R Carbon Helmet and noticed it's still 50 grams lighter and I paid under $600 so for anyone looking for similar build quality, equally awesome looks (not Rossi though), super light weight, and GREAT 10 out of 10 visibility, it's another great option.

OR if you have $1000-1300 to spend (which a lot of Duc owners have :) the AGV looks like a great helmet ;)

Here is the new Rossi helmet for 2013. This design will replace the elements design. What do you guys think, hot or not??

Rossi just made the 4th place on FP2 because an headache. I'm wondering if the new helmet is responsible for that :D

Nexx is exc. value for the money, had mine for about a yer now.

we need a rossi forum not a ducati forum. oh the dr took a dump. oh the dr had a bagel. etc etc. down with ducati the dr left. for sale my 1199 s want to buy a r1 so i can wear my rossi gear again.

Well said! Wasn't it the Dr. that said the 1199 was "Un-rideable" ? Hasn't it since proved him wrong? He left because the 1199 is a radical departure from previous Duc's and it would require him to change his style which he is too proud or lazy to do. the 1199 has a much longer wheelbase than any of the other rice or pasta rockets which makes it more difficult to turn but easier to get on throttle earlier. Since modern WSBK is more of a corner to corner drag race, this design will prove superior. Also the trellis frame was at its operational limit with the 1098R and its twist led to inconsistent lap times.

the 1199 wasn't rideable? Where did he say that? All I know is he had trouble handling the motoGP Duc in which he is not the only one. Let's be honest, despite being Duc-fan, the motoGP factory team of Ducati sucks. I love the panigale but it was the duc team that was too arrogant to a 9 time world champ, that was a foolish thing to do.

The guy is a living legend. I can see that people may think buying his helmets is a bit too much but as a rider there is not much to argue about. I don't like all his helmet but I think this helmet and the project46 one is dope.

I think he is mistaking the bike that Rossi rode is/was the 1199 that is available to the public ...

Not realizing that what they are riding are prototype bikes labeled desmo gp12 gp13 etc.

So much Rossi hate. Don't understand why anyone waste every bite their energy on any one individual. Who cares.

It's not like he took your GF/wife or punch your kid in the face.

haha...spot on. The funny thing is that some people just don't have a clue why they hate someone (Rossi saying the Panigale wasn't rideable) as if Rossi rides a panigale in the motogp .... ??
I am not a fan of anyone, but a guy that has dominated this sport for so long is a living legend. Wheather you like the guy or not, you can't argue he has done a lot for motosports. If you ever attend a motoGP race (no matter where in the world) you' ll see the majority of the fans support him more than any other rider (even more than their local riders) Again, I am not a fan of Rossi but if I would have to choose a favorite rider it definitely would be Vale for the fact that he just keeps coming back when people thought it was done.

A new season, a new bike and a new Helmet…finally here it is. The new Valentino Rossi 2013 helmet: the PistaGP Soleluna 2013!

The PistaGP SoleLuna 2013 is the helmet that Valentino Rossi currently is wearing in the motoGP 2013 season. This helmet replaces the PistaGP Project 46 and the PistaGP Elements that Rossi has had over the past two years.

This new SoleLuna design is featuring Valentino Rossi’s most famous design elements: the Sun and Moon. This new Sun and Moon 2013 helmet will come available in the PistaGP design, the AGV flagship helmet model. As usual the SoleLuna 2013 helmet has been designed by the legendary Aldo Drudi, the designer responsible for all of the Valentino Rossi helmets.

The SoleLuna 2013 can from now on be pre-ordered at Champion Helmets. We are the first party in the world to offer you the possibility to order this helmet! By placing your pre-order now you can make sure that when AGV releases the helmet, you will be amongst the first few people in the world to immediately get this helmet. The helmet is expected to be released by AGV in September/October. As always, Champion Helmets will be amongst the first few AGV distributors worldwide to offer you this helmet. The price is expected to be the same as the Project 46 helmet but still has to be confirmed by AGV.
