thermostat housing

I've waited for this "new part" for few months last year but took too long and so I took my bike back for sprint time. I took at back fall last year to a another deal, but they could not replicate any issue so looks like I may not need it.

do you think gasket sealant will help?:D

for those who do not know
this is the thermostat housing where the spring loaded thermostat has..:confused:...pushed thru. surprisingly the loss of water was not that high. i needed several events to find the cause.

for decades if not centuries thermostat units bring their own bridge with that carry the load of this pin.
was not so bad, or?
