i haven't looked yet, but given we are fly by wire these days, do we have a throttle grip adjuster, like the days of old cable throttles where you could easily adjust gap/play

Heard that the corse race throttles are finally on their way... so hang in there... :)

look what the cat dragged in :)

since my ECU upgrade, the throttle now has no issue. And as another post also said, don't hang on for grim death, relax.

It s a evo wsbk throttle that is converted to a R bike .. All corse dealers should be able to get but it s still rare i m told

So... what am I looking at? :)

Is that the corsa one and is it made out of metal rather than plastic and pretty much eliminates the play that's common on the stock one?

Pretty much? So it doesn't fix the problem completely?

perfect is a big word but it is remarkedly better.. still working on it though... i ll keep you posted...

Cool.. I'm just waiting on a price quote. Then I'll probably order it...

We've been using a set screw in the throttle tube and eliminates or rather, allows me to have the free play adjusted to my liking.

Some of us cannot afford all the fancy Corse stuff (Wish I could and am colored jelly of Kope's stuff and applaud him. Lord knows I would also if I could afford it) so, we make things work...

I didn't like the free-play so I installed the throttle grip turned 180deg.
really nice. no free-play. problem is that the engine doesn't start:(
therefore I installed a little piece of plastic to eliminate the gap between the throttle grip and the wireless sensor mechanism.
it is ok now but the rotating angle is a little bit too much and I need to stretch the wrist to fully open the gas. finally I pulled down the brake lever to keep the hand turned a bit clockwise to fully turn counter-clockwise when opening the gas.
any other experience is welcome. anyway a "fast gas" (not too much, just few deg) would help.

Got the price quote for the Ducati Corse throttle and adaptor today...

About 1400 EUR felt a little steep if you ask me... We'll see, maybe we just adjust the Fly-by-wire table in the OEM ECU and modify the OEM throttle to get rid of the free play and shorten the turn instead... At about 35% of that price...

Geeez....
