great! wasn't my idea, couldn't believe it when i first heard it.

> 3rd thread: this is (at least) the 3rd thread here about these bloody spacers ... besides Kevin selling them via his ducatispacers.com of course! :p lol

> 2nd thread: even I made them with video Throttle spacers

> 1st thread: it was @KvalheimRacing though teaching us in December last year that you can "simply turn it 180o" here: Throttle Spacers

Yet since some of us seem to have too much time on their hands?... By all means 3D print these - by @KvalheimRacing's remark made - completely redundant pieces of plastic!

Always better then feeling utterly useless while bored to death waiting for a bug to blow over? ;)

So the 180 trick doesn’t work unless you trim plastic and I don’t like it because it relies on one pin taking the load but I now have the next best solution for those trying to save beer money.

I call it the 3m method

Use some electrical tape!

180 trick didn’t work could not get bike to start ... Absolutely no idea why.

Its because the throttle is slightly cracked so the ecu probably registers it as a fault if the resistance does not return x value on boot, you can trim plastic to make it work. Ive got a spare that Ive been playing with to test it out but as much as it may not appeal to people who prefer a professional solution, tape is perfectly functional or literally whatever you can find lying around in the kitchen top draw to shim it with. There is something else too, it really makes little difference with or without them in to me, despite the hype Ive noticed my throttle control has improved hugely over time to the point where the bike feels smooth and tractable all the time even at low speeds.

I just did that with Heat-shrink tubing. There are 2 layers on the small tab (left in photo) ~.8mm thickness, 3 layers on the large tab (right in photo) 1.4mm thickness. Both from 15mm Heat-shrink tubing. It is a gnat's-ass from perfect fit. Prolly .1mm play now if that. Not rattle, no extra tension. Rode it an hour today. Omg what a difference. That throttle slop was making me nuts.

Thats pretty smart. How did you ride so long without them? lol and on track too. Youll probably pick up some time on corner exit now with a more connected feeling

I saw this trick online actually, I can't take credit. I just got this bike actually... a month and a half ago and a lot of snow rain waiting to ride it! YESTERDAY was the first warm day ride of the year! I'm at the base of the Alps it's been freaky weather. A few days of 70F in Feb, then snow in April. It's the end of the world whatever.
However, to your point, yes, OMFG it was making me nuts. I don't know how anyone rides without this mod. Feather clutch to death in tight corners? ridiculous.
