Anyone know of a shop or group buy going on for a titanium 48t - 2020 V4R? I had a bookmark saved for a shop in the UK but unfortunately they closed down.

I didn't even know they made the clutch basket in Titanium. How much were they at the shop that did make them in the UK?

Can you remember anything I’m in the uk and haven’t heard of it…

The company was Ti-Mar Developments in Christchurch, UK

They use to have a website, full pictures of the basket and everything but it now seems they're closed. I think it went around $800- $1k

I ended up putting in an STM with proti bolts

Not sure you'd want a ti clutch basket in the first place. Ti has notoriously low wear resistance and easily frets. It's also extremely difficult to machine, expensive, and not lighter than aluminum

Idk - if it's billet that could help with alleviating frett and wear resistance? I figured the stiffness of the tines would hold up pretty good, but the teeth along the friction plates would wear down faster due to aluminum being softer.

I was surprised at how much the drive hub itself gets worn and that its lasted this long, this is my 3rd clutch stack. 6200 miles on the stock basket and hub. I'll probably replace the drive hub next time I'm in there.

If durability is what you want, you should’ve gone with a wet clutch or go with a hardened steel basket (if that’s even a thing). This is the price of admission for a dry clutch

Hi, do you notice any fitment issue after fitting this basket?
I have the same basket ADU-0010, from STM ADU-0015 set (plates+basket) that I bought as replacemnet for my 21 V4S with dry clutch kit.

After fitting, I could ride the bike, but found out later that the original basket (white) and the new basket (red); are not identical.
My mech spotted some metal shavings from the clutch area and used feeler gauge to check the gap between the basket and the "bowl" (where it sits in).
The feeler jammed in a few places, around the base of the basket. When we removed the basket, I saw that the base of the basket, all around the outer edges, are like "machined off" due to rubbing. The red anodised has turned bare silver. And the bowl itself is also scratched.

So now I had to put back the original, worn-out basket as I look for an exact replacement.

This website is the only one that gave warning that the basket are not compatible

That is strange the basket didn't fit on your 21' S. The STM parts should fit up to 2023? I'm unsure of what the design change is on the clutch basket/bowl for that update though.

I didn't have any fitup issues with the red basket going into the bowl, it was straightforward to remove and drop in the new hardware. I can't think of how the basket could've been installed further into the bowl housing to cause contact. It bolts directly to the gear without washers

Where was your dry clutch installed? If there was rubbing, that interference should have been noted during fitup. The basket could be rocked back and forth slightly in the bowl, it shouldn't have a tight fit like you've found. I would make sure you didn't get a 23' basket sent to you by accident? I bought my kit from the same website

Just a heads up and this is for a 2019 V4R. I emailed STM a few years ago and about this basket they said the only basket that fits is the Ducati STM OEM clutch basket.

But they said there STM clutch packs work fine. I thought that was all bs and bought the OEM baskets, but I guess it was true. Just didn’t make since to me since STM makes them for Ducati.

If I was changing or looking to buy a new basket slipper set up or change to a dry clutch set up ..

I would go down the latest smaller diameter clutch as per the 23 R

I triple-checked the parts number when I ordered it; based on whats available on the internet.
ADU-0015 is the set number for the basket+plates; confirmed on the box.
ADU-0010 is etched on my STM basket; the same one as I saw on your photo.

I dont think it's a mix-up with 2023 model as the parts seems to be ADU-0030 per Belissimoto.
That basket and pack seems to be 40T instead of ours' 48T.

The basket replacement was done at a reputable local shop; not a Ducati dealer.
I didnt see it being installed, but I saw it when it was subsequently dismantled.

I wont describe the fixing as "snug" as the side gaps are there; and the basket drops into the bowl easily.
No washer, just bolted straight on.
The basket diameter seems the same, but the bottom convex profile seems different.
As the result, the height of the STM red basket is "taller" but there is no visibly-obvious jutting out from the rim of the bowl.
That's why it wasnt immediately noticed. We only confirmed this later with vernier calliper. The two baskets are phycially different dimension, height-wise.

Even with this issue, the bike can still be started, ridden, and pushed. I rode it for around 50km.
I did notice slight jerking at very low rpm, but in my mind it attributed it to the new plates bedding in..

I am not sure if the two baskets are really incompatible or if this is a sign of improper installation when I first converted to dry clutch..
Eg, if gear parts (4) isnt perfectly straight; or isnt proud enough.
Coz I have gone through 2 sets of clutch plates within ~10k km. (this bike is my daily city-ride; full of stop-go traffic).
And that when checking with the feeler gauge, the "jam" only happen at a few spots around the base. So we are talking abt milimeters of clearance issue here.
(But thats also after the basket and the bowl have been rubbing for quite a distance..)

I can share the aftermath photo of my STM basket here next time after I collect my parts back.

I wonder of the bowl is a different dimension? If you can take feeler gap measurements of what you have installed, from the basket to the bowl, I can do the same. Since the red basket I replaced with works on mine, the dimensions should be the same as your stock white one. That would at least tell you if the bowls are the same geometry. I installed the same part numbers but different bowl geometry for a wet clutch compared to dry might be the issue?

He did a dry clutch upgrade on a 23 or 21* V4S. The red stm basket doesn't fit in the bowl. Saying it contacts around the concave section and the stock dry clutch basket is not the same dimension as the dry STM red basket

@899 what part number is the bowl in your owners manual? The 2020 V4R is 24314291A
