Titanium headers available for Termignoni 1199 Titanium race silencers-traditional rear-exit?

This may seem like a silly question, but the only Termignoni headers I see available for the Termignoni race titanium rear exit silencers are stainless steel, 60mm.

I do see Termignoni titanium headers available but only for the carbon, front exit D155 silencers. (Yuck-those things are weird- no offense!)

I’m running Termignoni race silencers but the stock 55mm stainless headers (I assume stock headers are stainless?). I’m running the T800 full race map, on the advice of my Ducati tech, and the bike runs GREAT and powerful!

I know that titanium headers will reduce heat so I’d like to explore that. Don’t see the point in spending $$ on slightly larger but still steel (hot) headers.

If your main concern is reducing heat, invest in a carbon subframe or carbon frame covers. Titanium headers won't reduce heat in terms of feel and would be a waste of money. Stock frame heatsoaks and is the main cause of radiating heat felt in the thighs and butt areas.
 
I know this is the 1199 forum, but I don't get how a carbon subframe helps with butt heat. Your ... is on an Alcantara seat with a bunch of foam and a plastic base. Not the best heat conductors. Rather I think its the heat that rises up and around the seat from the exhaust loop under the frame which gives that impression.

The best heat solution I've found for all three bikes I've owned in the V4/Panigale platform is leather pants.

Thanks guys- but I’m focusing on exhaust for now.

What about other manufacturers?

Can Akra titanium headers be purchased separately, and more importantly, would they mate up correctly with the Termi y-pipe? My guess is no.

Once again, it's not gonna help with heat but hey, if you're dead set on wasting your money without resolving your issue, by all means go ahead and buy some titanium headers.
 
I thought all termignoni headers (ss and titanium were 70mm) for all panigales 899/959/1199/1299

Stock headers on 899 were 57mm
Stock headers on 959/1199/1299 were 62mm

Akrapovic headers titanium were 62mm
Simón these you only get advantage by reducing weight and heat if you have a 959/1199/1299

If is a 899 you also increase diameter

Not true, titanium retains less heat than steel. Not to mention weight savings but that’s not important to me.

Titanium retaining less heat is irrelevant. Heat needs to go somewhere. The radiating heat you feel won't change and if it does, it definitely is not noticeable but okay. It's your money.

No one is arguing. This "heat" issue has been covered too many times to count. My mistake for tryin to save you some money but go ahead and waste it.

They are just harder to find

Thanks guys but both those links are for header systems compatible with the D155 silencers only— the weird, forward-exit carbon cover ones I referred to in my original post.

I already saw those on eBay before I posted.

They will not fit the standard, rear-exit Titanium race cans.

Read the fine print in the ads.

I don’t think Termignoni makes a titanium header set for my cans. I guess I was hoping possibly another manufacturer might— but I’ve never seen them.

Moving on.

They sell a header system which for whatever reason is listed as stainless steel which looking like it matches the rear cans. However, in the description is says its "Collector in inconel (titanium-niobium)."
