I am planning on doing another run at a local dyno on Saturday.

hwat's the general knowledge on how i could connect his O2 WB sensor to my laptop with the tueboy trim software?

i guess disconnecting my standard O2 sensors i the first step.

as it looks by now, there is no more pre-set data for a throttle position above 40%...

so how much could an auto-tune help me then?
i am planning on going to the track next weekend and don't want to run around with the bike running too lean in the top-end at full throttle...

Do have a full tuneboy with widebands installed (as per this post http://ducati1199.com/guides/12491-lc-1-wide-band-oxygen-sensor-install.html#post92526 ) ?

If yes then you already have all the wideband AFR data available to TuneBoyTrim running on the laptop.
Follow the directions in the manual for Dyno tuning, hopefully your Dyno operator has some Tuneboy experience and will take care of things.

I once tried Autotune on the road but the results were negative so leave it for the Dyno.

Don't have the WB...

Tried the auto tune on the road with the 0-5V setting. Ran awfully rich....

No TB dyno guys here.

You can't autotune at all without WB sensors.
If you have no Dyno in your area I would recommend not bother with WB or any DIY tuning and simply rely on canned tunes from others.

i have a guy here in the area with a dyno, but he has no experience at all with the tuneboy software.
we already discussed installing the trim software on his dyno PC (where the wideband sensor is hooked up) but then how to get the data into the trim program. and olso this would not be for each cylinder, only general...

problem is, seems like wayne hasn't brought out a real "finished" map.
cruise won't even work on my bike (i tried everything) and the up to 40% throttle trim is also not so satisfying...

Why wont cruise work? I haven't installed mine yet, wondering if I should even bother?

i have no clue, i tried everything. starting with 3/4/5 second holding of the starter button, when riding, holding the starter button for different intervals. none worked.

unloaded the maps, uploaded them again, back and forth. don't know what it is. when time comes i will get back to them. just too busy right now and this is not a top priority.

i am more concerned about receiving a fully tricked out and tuned map for the bike.

Venomous - mine works perfectly, so does another friends I know of. Pretty sure it'll work fine.

Phil - sorry to hear you're still having issues. The V3 worked fine for me. I think Wayne posted a while back that the most likely problem if it won't activate is that the clutch or either brake is registering on. Think he'd seen a few cases where aftermarket rearsets had caused the problem, might be next point of investigation!

Hope the tuning goes well. I'll post up my trim file when I get it done.

Thanks!

i got the Gilles rearsets, but the brake switch is deactivated.
wait, let me check on that!!!

Included in the package is a cruise preflight check - I recommend you run that and check that it green lights your brake and clutch switches.
