Torque wrench for smaller bolts

Many bolts on the cast engine casing are very low torque (from memory 4Nm for clutch cover?) and you don't want to strip them. Problem is, it is surprising just how soft 4Nm is. While it is very tempting to just do them by hand, "snug tight", we all have a very different idea of what snug tight feels like. A 1/4" drive torque wrench takes the guess work out of it. And you only need to buy cheaper socket sets since they won't be doing anything heavy duty.

I bought a 2-20Nm Syntech some years ago from this mountain bike supplier in UK...for my mountain bike...but have used it mostly on motorbikes...

I like to beat on my right nut w long ass breaker bar

hitting it repeatedly with large dead blow hammer

But only until it stops moving or turns purple

I have a track day on the second week of February
It’s going to give me peace of mind to know everything is torque to spec!
