My sub-frame has shipped and my track body work should ship from the painter next week. :D
In preparation for all of that, can anybody tell me how many dzus bodywork fasteners are required to fix the (1) superbike tail, (2) bellypan, and (3) the front and side fairings?
Again, thanks in advance!

I use three each side on the front fairing one on the tail piece .
Using D rings will not work I just use the hex head Dzus .

Need some more help here guys.
My schedule is being squeezed because my bodywork is going to be late coming from the painter, I have to order and have fasteners shipped and the upcoming track day in March is more important to me than usual - my 50th birthday falls on the same weekend as my next track day and I am planning on celebrating it with friends by us meeting at the track, riding all weekend, camping and having a general blow-out of a good time.

OK; not that sad of a story, but I need some help in ordering the right fasteners even before I take the delivery of the body work.

What I need to attach to the bike:
  1. Superbike tail section. The two-piece upper/lower system that uses a foam pad instead of the OEM seat.
  2. Belly pan;
  3. Left and right side fairings; and,
  4. front fairing.
I'd value of more detailed list and perhaps pictures of the types of fasteners used and where on the bike. It may be that some parts use OEM fasteners; but, I have no clue at this point and I am worried that I may not have enough time to get everything together before the track weekend if I wait until the bodywork shows up before I try to figure this out.
Thanks again for any insight.

I have the MotoXP race bodywork. My mechanic had to use the OEM fasteners to secure the race bodywork. We have all of the sizes made by Dzus and they didn't work. On the side panels, my tech used used some of the fasteners from the OEM tail section. He said the gap between the side panels and where they fasten was too large a gap for Dzus fasteners. If you have a superbike tail, you will be able to use regular bolts or Ti bolts to secure the tail section. Again, you can use the OEM bolts/locks/fasteners to secure your race bodywork but you will need more bolts to secure the tail section. If you are using Sharkskinz bodywork, the Dzus fasteners may work but if the gap between the side panels to the fasten points is as large fitting s the OEM bodywork, the Dzus fasteners won't work. Bottom line, you will rob OEM fasteners to secure your new race bodywork. Then, like I did, you can order more OEM fasteners from your Ducati dealer to supplement or replace what you need. I hope this helps and hope you make the track day.

Get ahold of Woodcraft, they are the dealer for armor and typically Eric Wood answers questions himself. If he has the hardware, he will get it to you quickly

That's a good idea. I've purchased their body work, fasteners, foam seat pad, bar ends, lever guards and rear sets; I'm sure he'd help a fellow out.

I know he's on the forum some where. Do you recall his user name?

You can call the shop. Good chances you talk to Waylon, he is very helpful also.
