I prefer the height of the stock seat but the grip of the comfort seat and wish the two could be combined. Anyone try this seat?

My track fairings are cheap plastic oem replicas and one thought was to get the one piece tail with a foam pad for a similar investment, just more steps.

Thoughts?

Race Seats IT! I have one and I love it, well worth the money. Get the tank ext for the full effect, IMO one of the best cheapest/best track mods

I have one for sale. If OP is interested.

Curious I ride 30% track how does that raceseats.it compare to stock as far as comfort, I find with the stock seat that I can ride all day?

I got the competition model RaceSeat and would compare it to a very grippy wood plank. The stock seat feels goldwing'ish in comparison but this one is not meant for cruising on the street.

I got the race it

the grip is great

but it is alot firmer, but you get used to it

Does anyone know, what is the use for the tank extensión?

Is it for taller riders?

or what is the use?

Keeps you back a little more and squares it up. Think 1098/1198 tank. Look at the wsbk and gp tanks also.

I have a tank extender out of Japan.

My 1098 I covered the seat in wetsuit material, I just spread glue over it and stapled the underside and for me it was a great mix of grip and still being able to move around.
I like the tank covers they just square off the back of the tank and make it very similar to a 1098 which I find personally much better than the slope, and the stock 959/1299 seat is a great improvement over the 1199 seat plenty of padding and grip.
