I've been meaning to ask these questions for a few weeks now...
1. What is the actual algorithm used for the DTC on an 1199s? It seems to activate when I'm leaned over and get a bit throttle happy (which I expect and appreciate), but also when coming out of a turn fairly straight up applying liberal throttle. As the front lifts the orange light turns on almost like it's a wheelie control (which I'd rather not have.) This is with level 1 activated. Before I run with DTC set to 0, I'd like to learn how it's activated and perhaps ride around it if possible so I can keep it at level 1 to keep me composed in the turns but not cut power when I'm straight up, regardless of how high the front end climbs.
2. I have a spare ECU labeled DP3 that came with a full Termi system. It was a plug-n-play on my 2012 1199s (and gave me +6 hp with no additional tuning). I'd like to sell it but want to get my info straight first; is this ECU a straight bolt-on for all 1199's, or just 2012 model year S models?
Thanks in advance.
