Does anybody know if there is a difference between the UK market v4 panigale and the USA market v4 panigale
Apart from the frame number on the USA bike is visible on the right hand frame rail

I’ve been offered a speciale and I think it’s a us market bike (frame No on side rail). Is it worth less, are the emissions the same, will it have a uk warranty

Sweet! All the bikes in the US need to be ECU flashed or tuned because they run very lean here, this leads to a hot bike that doesn’t run at its best.

also, ur gonna have some ugly orange reflectors on the front forks and a big ugly rear fender but that can all be taken care of

the big thing to check is for the Full Akra exhaust, typically that’s a $7,000 option installed but on the Speciale I think it was supposed to come with it but the original owner would have to pay labor to have it fitted

I’d invite you to come over here (USA) but the country is on lockdown and I lost out on my first ever V4 test ride I had scheduled for yesterday

I have a 1299 and it ran like .... even with the Akra UpMap. Removed charcoal canister and put the BrennTuning flash on and now it’s a dream

have u ever ridden/owned on a Ducati or other “SuperBike”
They’re scary fast and look absolutely beautiful but you will need deep pockets because it’s super easy to get carried away with accessories. Lucky for you, your Speciale will come with most of the good ones but there’s plenty more to do

thanks ducatikev
the bike comes fitted wth the akra and upmap fitted
I've had a 1299s and currently a v4s but the speciale is such a beautiful thing to have
don't know about the sprocket teeth domino?

That’s pretty awesome. Great collection of bikes! One of my service writers raced his 2018 V4S for 2 years, it’s basically a speciale at heart.
he swears all u need is the Akra and an UpMap on the V4 models. But I swear that my UpMap on 1299 was rubbish (choppy acceleration at lower revs, dead spot at 6,500rpm, ran very hot and the throttle was jerkey when trying to hold a steady pace at lower revs) now it’s all fixed and better than ever, almost as refined as your V4 is going to be hahaha
I don’t think you have any of that to worry abt with V4

I’m so excited for u!

I don't know why you say the stock bike runs ....? It is pretty smooth compared to the 1098-1199 definitely. It is one of the better stock setups like the BMW S1000 series. Are you saying it runs like .... only with the slip on exhaust that removes the CAT? Then it makes sense.

When I first got my 1299 it had Akra and UpMap. Thought it was incredible!
Ran it for a few months the got the ECU dialed in and it’s noticeably better.
That dead spot around 7K rpm is less dead and the on/off throttle smoothness at low revs is so much better
DQS is on point now too at any load and RPM

as for the V4, if you have the $$$ do Akra and UpMap and maintain a nice long factory warranty
