Since I had an issue on July 20th, I brought it to the dealer shop. They told me that the start motor went bad and replaced it under warranty.

That's cool. Also the fluctuating rpm was settled which happened with backfire noise (it's really loud).

I picked up my Panigale and rode about 15 min. It was ok. But the same situation happened on my way back. Rpm was fluctuating again during idling with backfire noises. Engine temp was about 180-190 F and the weather was cloudy with 83 F.

So frustrated... Still the dashboard didn't show any error code.

Feels like ignition plug or air filter or fuel injector...

Any comments?

stw: the too in your posts should read "to".

This guy is obviously a sociopath ..so leaving posts for him is pointless... He will never change his behaviour until he has too..i.e. Banned...

Obviously's grammar stw is not that great if he needs help here

I had the same problem. It appears my bike went bad over the course of one week until I took it in. Frequent backfiring (while letting out the clutch), hesitating quite a bit, very difficult to ride; lots of jerking. it was obvious something was not right.

My dealer kept my bike for almost a week but when I got it back, the problem was mostly gone; bike felt like it was back. I have no idea what repairs were done even though he tried to explain it to me about the spark plugs and having to call Ducati for assistance; it was all covered under warranty.

I think my mechanic mentioned that he mostly knew what the problem was based on my complaint when I dropped it off with about 3,500 miles on it. Oh, and they told me I needed to ride the bike a little bit harder.... :)
