Evening fellas, I just did an advanced search for this and came up with some useful info but I'm prompted to ask a few more questions.
Id like to put an Ohlins unit on my 1199, ive ridden w them on most of my bikes and utilize the adjustability. Looks like the 1199 base unit is what Ohlins calls A SD040 w a 68mm stroke. Now, this looks damn close to many others on our favorite discount shopping site. Just wondeing if anyone has found and used a damper designed to fit another bike.. Looks like if the eye to eye is the same than all one would be worried about would be the "id" hole diameter in the spherical rod end, no? Thanks.
