Hi all,

I recently bought a termi D184 exhaust with T800 upmap from a European seller. Saved a few hundred bucks. Took like a month for it to ship.

it was shipped with a euro5 T800 diag port connector. totally incompatible with my US bike (weird that they're different, but oh well). luckily i already had a US (canbus?) version from my other bike.

I emailed the seller and they said 'well you can buy one here for 65 Euros'.

I'm generally polite but said 'I ain't paying for that, you sold me something that i can't use'

whatever. the map is loaded. just a heads up.

The 2021+ Panigale has the new style connector. The problem is likely the production years they are meant for.

If your connector looks like it would fit this, I'll buy it from you.

sure, it's useless to me. since you helped me with that fuel clip thing like a big boy, you're getting this thing for $0.00. I'll pm you for your address

For the record my bike is a 2020. Good to know about the change. I just assumed it was a Euro vs US thing

Im surprised that they sent it that way knowing full well that its going to the US. When I order Termi exhausts for customers from my US Termi distributor that they can sell for Ducatis (Like for example the D184 exhaust). And someone from Europe orders one from me. I know that they need the Euro 5 cable. So I ask my distributor to make sure the Euro 5 Upmap T800 is in the box instead of the US version. Since they also carry the Euro 5 Upmap T800's, but sell very few. They dont mind pulling out the regular Upmap T800 and swapping it with the Euro 5 one. You would think they know there is a difference between the Euro 5 and US Upmap T800's. Then again we shouldnt assume they know.

I’m having issues installing my UPMAP on a 2021 V4SP . The T800 recognized my bike and I was able to download the Map from the Termignoni app but it keeps failing on the install and keeps having connectivity issues with the bike . The T800 I have has a Euro5 plug with it . Is this the problem ? What should the plug say ?

Do you know if you need the Euro 5 connector or a USA version for 2021 V4SP ? Thanks .

If it physically fits it should be the right plug. The two different types are completely incompatible

Tried that and still not getting anything to happen . It’s a connection issue . Maybe my internet but I have great wifi all throughout my house and garage so I’m just puzzled

Upmapped mine a couple of weeks ago using an iPhone 12 no issues.

Make sure that you have the map specific to your region. Looks like you’re in the US so you’ll want to have the US map.

Thanks ! I will double check it but I’m almost 100% sure it’s the USA map . The app won’t allow you to download incompatible maps
