just a 'guess/try this'. maybe uninstall the app, reboot your phone, reinstall, try again. couldn't hurt to try with an android phone if you can find one to borrow.

That was the root cause . I had to use an android phone and was able to do the install and finalize the UPMAP
sweet. glad to hear you got it working. i love my broke ass base model, but whoo boy, your bike is effin beautiful. consider me jelly. enjoy the map. i really like mine. zero regrets.

I just did mine today with an iPhone 11.

The process went perfectly smooth. From the app click the helmet icon, add the device then wait for it to update and identify the bike. Go to the store, select and download the map. Save the OEM map to the device then flash the new one.

hmm, who knows. probably some developer level difference with his phone that would be impossible for any of us to diagnose. glad everyone's mapped up and good to go

Wish I had the same experience with my iPhone 11 Pro Max . I wasted hrs yesterday trying . Android took a few tries and then worked and completed the map

I’m having issues installing my UPMAP on a 2021 V4SP . The T800 recognized my bike and I was able to download the Map from the Termignoni app but it keeps failing on the install and keeps having connectivity issues with the bike . The T800 I have has a Euro5 plug with it . Is this the problem ? What should the plug say ?
You just need to buy the US plug that it

There is no such thing as a US plug, it’s either the pre ‘21 plug which is the flat 4 pin, then there’s the ‘21 red and square shaped 6 pin, also sometimes called Euro 5.

This red plug is for all Euro 5 complaint bikes. If he bought the upmap t800 from Europe they should have informed him. Australian bikes are Euro 5 compliant. Brocks Performance sells Euro 5 compliant units UpMap Kit (T800+ and Euro 5 Cable) Ducati Applications - See Fitment List what he needs is this a cable for US bikes as well as other bikes that are not euro 5 compliant like this UpMap Cable (Ducati Models) UP010571

Listen I understand that you’re in the business of selling .... but get your facts right. The bike in question is a MY21 SP so it has a Red diagnostic port even if it’s a US spec.

The part you have linked is for models prior to 2021.

To complicate this, some of the 2021 bikes have the old canbus connectors and the later production 2021 bikes have the new van is, so before you buy the T800 UpMap you need to pull your seat and check which one you have on your bike.

the guy I bought my a Termi from (Motomillions) knew that and had me check my bike before he shipped my UpMap to get me the right one.

So it doesn’t matter what cable you use and this EURO 5 Cable is correct then ?

It matters because the wrong cable will not fit, well technically it could because there’s an adapter made for Euro 5 to DDA that could make it work but that’s another part and another subject.

Basically if your cable physically fits your diagnostic port then you have the correct cable.

Yes, it fits fine and connects to the bike fine . I’ve had some com errors happen in the process with some glitches but was able to download and install the new racing pro map .

I understand the errors were due to the phone you were using… otherwise, perfect [emoji108]

to sum up for others that may come back and read this and are now confused as hell

to be 100% sure you order the correct unit its best to take of your seat and look at the diagnostic plug

red square plug is euro 5

black flatter plug is euro 4

I have both types on sale and you can see the appropriate color and shape plug in each listing

Termignoni Exhausts and UPmap (vcyclenut.com)

Calm down there keyboard hero. After I read what you wrote and I responded. I thought about it in the morning and figured if someone like you or anyone else wrote what you wrote. Then its worth looking into and see if they are right and I am was wrong. So I looked some stuff up. Made a few phone calls and found out I was wrong. I will be 1st to admit if I am wrong about something. It was a busy day today so my first priority wasnt to go on the forum and say hey guys I was wrong about the pigtail.

It will really twist people up when they find out that they have the Euro 5 plug but not a Euro 5 spec bike.
