Logic - The 1299SL is gong to be collectable, the V4R just started production.
The SL and the V4R are both above 99.8% +/- .2% of the riders here.
If I were to own either they would both see track regardless of value.
Chasing lap times, I doubt youll see much difference between the two taking into account that nobody here is able to reach the outer limits of these machines.
As far as curb appeal, the 1299SL is the bees knees
