Hi Everyone
I have recently (2 days ago) purchased a 2022 V2 Bayliss 20th Anniversary bike - my first Ducati. It needs a little loving as it was bought as a repairable write-off. Damage is pretty minimal, however I need to source a Rear Brake lever and Foot peg - as these appear to have been sacrificed to the gods of speed...

I have located a number of websites that list the oem part numbers for these and have been searching online shops for used replacement bits. It seems from looking through multiple catalogues that the parts I am looking for are a Ducati "parts bin" item - ie. used across multiple models over numerous years.

The parts I am looking for are:
8291E071AA - Right Holder
82411871BA - Front RH Plate
46410531B - Right Footrest
45720552AA - Brake Lever Assembly

I have located items that are supposedly suitable for my bike, however the part numbers are slightly different:

eg:
Brake Lever - 45730551A compared with 45720552AA
Right Holder - 8293E071A compared with 8291E71AA

Sorry - for they long intro here - here is my question:

Does Ducati use multiple part numbers for the exact same part - across models, or years, or markets?
If so
Can anyone advise where I might be able to find a list of the alternate numbers and their equivalent part numbers as I don't particularly want to Frankenstein the machine just yet ;).

Many thanks in advance
Kind regards
Dave

Looks like i found my answer.
Took off the broken bits and the part numbers cast its them match the alternate part numbers for the parts I had sourced and NOT the official part numbers I found from the parts diagrams (USA, AUS and EU websites). Problem solved so I guess the explanation is now somewhat accademic, but if anyone knows, I'd still be interested to hear.

Next question - I have been searching for a workshop manual, but been unable to locate one on the forum (sorry I know every second Johnny will have asked this question - so I promise never to ask "What oil do you use... " ).

If there is a V2 shop manual manual (2022ish), could someone please point me to a location. If there isn't one - can someone just reply with shut up Dave! ;)

Thanks
Dave
